This page explains how Packing Gear Lab researches, writes and updates its articles.
Our sources
We use manufacturer specifications and published dimensions, and TSA and airline guidance for liquids and baggage. When a claim comes from a manufacturer, we say so.
What we do not do
- We do not claim to have tested products unless that is true, and we never invent test results, ratings, awards or quotes.
- We do not publish Amazon prices, star ratings or customer reviews.
- We do not accept payment to include or rank a product.
Use of AI tools
AI tools help draft some articles. A person checks every article before publication; facts, numbers and rules are verified against sources, and anything we cannot verify is removed.
Corrections and updates
We review articles regularly. If you find an error, please contact us.
